Neat

This little jar is neat. The threads do tighten the lid on well, you’ve just got to be sure the lid mold is over full. A couple of times the thread side wasn’t complete.

I only wish the jar was larger, other than that it's perfect. The lid screws on to the base perfectly.

cute

I would definitely recommend this teeniest tiniest little mold. My only complaint is that there are a few sharp little edges, but I was able to sand them off cleanly.

Petite

I love this jar. I wish it could be a little larger. My only real issue is that the sides are not a smooth, clear finish. It's like it has textured sides. Grainy like. I bought 2 of these molds from 2 different businesses and both are the same. So I'm assuming it's just how it's supposed to be. I just would prefer a smoother finish.

And all my customers and friends think they're adorable. So easy to use and de-molding is much easier than with most molds. I just wish I could get it in a larger size.

Make your own resin jar with a twist on/off lid.  This size is great for hiding trinkets or pixie dust.  Give it as a gift and include a sentimental note to the recipient.  It's small enough to fit in a purse or pants pocket.

Resin jars made with this two-part silicone jar mold be 30 mm wide (outer diameter) and 17 mm tall (outer height).  The inner diameter is 23 mm.  Bottom container is 15 mm (outer) tall and 12 mm tall (inner).  The lid is 16 mm (inner) wide, 7 mm tall (outer) and 4 mm tall (inner.)

Castings will have frosted finish sidewalls.

How do you use this silicone two-part jar mold to make a resin jar and lid?

Step 1:  Mix and pour a casting resin into the mold opening.  Squeezing the mold sides can help to open the mold and make this easier.

Step 2:  Make it unique by using resin colors before pouring or leave the resin clear.

Step 3:  After curing, twist the mold while grabbing the resin edge.  Peel both pieces from the mold.

Resin jar shown was made with Resin Obsession super clear resinResin Obsession opaque colors, ICE resin tints and Pinata Jacquard white ink.

The sample resin jar shown is not included with mold purchase.

For the best results and to prolong mold life, use a resin mold release before pouring resin.
