Fantastic mold

I have made several castings from this mold. The design let's you free paint then add your resin. It is firm enough for support while curing yet flexible enough for an easy release. This is an inexpensive mold that you can get a lot of castings from using a lot of variations. I highly recommend this mold.

Craft a Christmas ornament with resin that will become an instant family heirloom.   This Christmas ball ornament casts with dripping Icicle detailing.  It's hard to believe the drips aren't real!

Christmas tree ornaments from this mold measure 3 1/2 inches tall by 2 3/4 inches wide and 1/4 inch deep at the deepest point.  in addition, this ornament finishes with a 3.5 mm wide cast-in-place hole.  All you need to do to hang the ornament is add a ribbon, cord, or chain, then voila!

Wondering how to use Christmas ornament silicone mold with resin?  It only takes three easy steps.

Step 1:  Mix a clear resin for molds and add your favorite resin color.

Step 2:  Pour the resin into the mold focusing on the icicle drips.  Then, once the first layer cures, add another layer in a different color for resin.

3.  Demold the ornament by peeling the silicone away from the hardened resin.

Keep your mold in its best shape by lightly applying Ultralease resin mold release thirty minutes or longer before filling with resin.
