Looking for something fun to make with resin? Then you will love using this two-part trinket box mold to make a hexagon-shaped jewelry box. This silicone box mold lets you make many trinket boxes with resin that are perfect for holding jewelry, tchotchkes, and other small items. Resin trinket boxes also make a great gift!
Resin boxes made with this mold will be 3 inches wide by 1 1/2 inches tall. The lid casts separately with a beveled edge.
Using this trinket box mold with resin is as easy as:
Step 1: Measuring and mixing a casting resin, then pouring it into the mold opening.
Step 2: Giving your special touch by using colors formulated for resin before pouring. You can also keep the resin clear and add found items.
Step 3: Once the resin is hardened, twisting the mold while grabbing the trinket box edge.
Samples shown were made with baking candies and the Resin Obsession deep pour epoxy resin.
For easy demolding, use a resin mold release thirty minutes or more before casting resin.
Sample jewelry box shown is shown for inspiration and not included with purchase.
