Napkin rings will be 2 1/2 inches wide and tall by 1 inch deep. The center opening casts 1 3/8 inches wide. The closed side of the mold makes a beveled edge on the napkin ring.
The sample napkin holder was made with Resin Obsession deep pour epoxy, Resin Obsession opaque black and white pigments, and silver tube beads.
How do you use this hexagon-shaped napkin ring mold with resin?
Step 1: Mix a hard-curing casting resin, so your napkin holder doesn't lose its shape when you use it.
Step 2: Use epoxy colors or keep your resin clear. (There's no wrong answer here) Then, pour into your mold.
Step 3: Demold by peeling the silicone away from the cured epoxy.
Keep your mold in its like new by using resin mold release thirty minutes before filling with resin.
