Cabinets? Sure, but I love this for pendants! It's a pleasing shape, and you have plenty of room to work in all directions. I tend to use the first layer I pour as the back and then demold them before doing a final doming layer, but the plastic is quite translucent so you absolutely can work back to front if you prefer. The mold is firm with just enough flexibility, and while using mold release is best I can confirm that if you forget you'll probably be fine- give it a few minutes in the freezer and a tap on the counter.
