Creating something fancy to show off your favorite cocktail or serving bowl is a cinch with this resin silicone mold. It casts with a square shape with more open square on the inside. You'll make trivets that look like they came from a fancy home design magazine.
Trivets measure 3 7/8 inches square by 3/8 inches deep. Trivets made with this resin mold are suitable for cold or warm contact only. Hot dishes aren't suitable to rest on cured resin.
How do you use this silicone mold to make a resin trivet?
Step 1: Accurately measure and thoroughly mix a hard-curing casting resin
Step 2: Color the resin if desired before pouring into the mold's open space.
Step 3: Demold and use to decorate a table or serving buffet.
The resin trivet shown was made with Resin Obsession deep pour casting resin, Resin Obsession opaque white and black pigments, and gold metal flake.
For the best results, use one of the Resin Obsession casting resins. They cure hard and won't soften with use.
To prolong mold life, use resin mold release every time before filling the mold with resin.
