The Resin Obsession Drying Mat is great for holding onto your resin projects. It measures about approximately 5 1/2 to 6 inches square, depending on mat edge. Mat is very flexible.
Openings in the mat are perfect for finding bails to allow them to sit flat while working with resin.
Resin peels off easiest when it is partially cured. Clean with a mild detergent and warm water as necessary. Dry thoroughly before using with your resin jewelry making projects.
Comes in color black. Pendants shown are examples only and not included with purchase.
Drying mats may bend some during shipment. If you mat does not lie flat when you receive it, place it under a heavy book for 24 to 48 hours.
I have never used a drying tray or mat before. So much more efficient than the klugy blocks and wax paper I was using. Cut way down on waste and mess.
When I first saw this, I attempted to make one of my own using various different materials. Nothing worked very well and was more of a pain than useful. I ordered this mat and it was everything I was hoping it would be and more. It has made finishing and doming so much easier. The annoyance of over filling and clean up has nearly dissipated. In fact, I love it so much that I am going to order another one. Only the smallest complaint would be that I wish it came in a bigger size.
The mat I already have is larger but flexible. I prefer the new RO drying mat b/c it is stiff. This is preferable especially with larger pieces. Great product for all size and shape resin pieces.
Everyone who makes resin items needs a resin drying mat. It lifts your items up off your work surface, so that in the event you get a little overflow, that overflow can simply run off the side of your piece without ruining your work surface or eternally gluing your piece to the table. I use mine over a silicone work mat, too. Great product, highly recommended.
I now have four of these drying mats and I absolutely LOVE them. I often use resin to coat dominoes and these drying mats are perfect for making certain no extra drips of resin pool around the domino. Any drips of resin that get on the mats can easily be removed once the resin is dried.
