You will be amazed with how you can use resin as a budget-friendly, quick and simple way to make unique jewelry. By the end of this class, you will feel confident you have the skills and knowledge to make your own distinctive resin jewelry to add to your collection, give to others or even sell!
No experience or special skills are required.
In this two-day class, I will walk you through several projects with easy step-by-step instructions. You will complete at least two pieces of jewelry and learn the basics of working with resin such as:
*setting up your crafting area
*choosing the right resin and supplies for your projects
*learning basic resin techniques such as mixing, coloring, demolding and finishing
*troubleshooting when things don’t turn out as expected
All this, plus you get my beginner pitfalls to look out for.
This two-day class will give you a chance to work with an epoxy resin and a quick-curing polyurethane resin in molds and jewelry bezels to create something that fits your design and style. Even if you have tried making resin jewelry and are dissatisfied with the results, you will learn skills in this class to help you make the jewelry you envision. Students are encouraged to bring things from home, such as trinkets, charms, and other found items they may want to include in their resin jewelry.
This class is for beginners, but all levels of resin experience are welcome. Students must be 18 years of age or older.
Class fee includes basic supplies. Additional supplies are available for purchase.
While we don't have any currently scheduled, we can help you get clear casting resin for your jewelry projects.
