Details

Make round resin spheres in different sizes easily with the clear, two-part silicone mold.  Great for creating unique resin paperweights and trinkets.

The clear silicone allows you to see what you are doing while you are resin casting.  Being able to see through the mold means fewer mistakes as you can exactly see where to place any additions or extra embedments.  The two-part mold has a hole at the top to allow you to use casting resin.

Choose from nine different size diameters:  20 mm, 30 mm, 40 mm, 50 mm, 60 mm, 70 mm, 80 mm, 90 mm, 100 mm.

How to Use

Using this mold to make resin spheres and balls is as easy as:

1.  Mixing and pouring resin into the opening at the top.

2. Set aside to cure

3.  Once dry, flexing the silicone around the casting to release the resin.

Pro tip:  To keep create a tight seal on the seam of the two parts, seal with a hot glue gun.  Remove the glue after the resin is cured, then peel the resin away from the mold.

Because the molds are small you may want to warm them slightly with a heat gun before use.  For the optimum life of your mold, use Ultraleae resin mold release to make sure your castings come out perfectly.

Sample resin ball shown is not included with purchase.
