I have done several molds. I light spray and they come out great! Shipping was super fast.
Works great with R.O Super Clear Resin, KSResin, and various other brands I've tried it with. Definitely a "go to" product for me.
Only downside (IMHO only), I find it smells like Raid insect killer, but that does dissipate rapidly. I can live with that for the great final results!
Ok, now here’s a spray I’ll stand behind❣️ I’ve just started using this, but right now I have to say “ It’s the BEST ever” Please, protect your molds & your resin pieces with the Ultra 4
👍🏻🤩👍🏻🤩👍🏻🤩 You won’t be sorry 🤩
I had not been using a mold release, never had a problem. I read that this release can help protect the molds though and as I have been buying more expensive molds I wanted them to last. The spray really makes a difference. Resin slips right out. Hopefully it is increasing the longevity of my molds as well.
Using the 60mm 3-sided silicone pyramid mold, I gave the clean mold the ever-so-lightest spritz of Ultra 4 Polyester Parfilm Paintable Mold Release and allowed it to dry while I mixed up my resin.
I mixed some Gold Metallic Powder into some clear resin. I poured this into the tip of the pyramid and let it cure for 24 hours. Then I mixed up another batch of clear resin and stirred in the tiniest bit of Interference Blue Pearlex powder, and poured it into the pyramid mold on top of the cured gold resin. Another 24 hours and a careful unmolding, and I am very happy with the results! The piece was was easy to unmold. The release agent did not leave Andy surface defects or detectable residue, so that I got an amazing, perfect piece our of the process. Thank you Resin Obsession for carrying these amazing products!
