This versatile liquid resin pigment can be translucent or opaque -- so you can have it your way. Alumilite Colorants are transparent when used with clear resin and opaque when used with white resin. Of course you can customize your color by the varying amount used or by using it in combination with other Alumilite dyes. These dyes are designed to be used with Alumilite brand resins and come in 1 ounce bottles. Add the dyes to the 'A' side by weight up to 5%. The more you use the darker the color will be. The Alumilite fluorescent dyes are available in five colors: orange, red, green, pink and yellow. See how these colors are used to create resin flower cabochons.
These liquid pigments can be thick. If you have trouble squeezing them out of the bottle, please watch our video on tricks for getting Alumilite dye out of the bottle. These pigments are designed for use with Alumilite resins. We cannot assure quality results when used with other brands of resin.
How to use Alumilite dyes with resin:
Very gloopy, have to squeeze hard to get any out. Very bright in colour but does not glow in the dark. I used a clear resin, with the colour above, it turned out to be opaque.
