Very nice mold for a round edged die. With a little duck tape to hold everything in place - a very good product.

Great mold

I had made several of these dice and have had great results. It is a little difficult to get the last corner just right but I keep it in the mold until the next pour and add the last little bit then.

So So

I have only used the mold once so far. This may not be a fair review but I had difficulty putting the resin into the mold. I did follow suggestions on the video. It was hard to see if there was any air bubbles, which in my case there was near the top and I was missing a corner of the dice. It is a really cool mold if I can get it to work properly.

Make your own six-sided resin dice with this clear silicone dot sided dice mold.  The sides have dots representing the numbers in play.  Finished dice will measure 16 mm on each side and have a shiny finish.

This hand-poured clear silicone dice mold is built to last by the team of House of Molds in Italy.  The clear silicone is great for knowing exactly where to place your embedments or for removing bubbles. Being able to see through the mold means fewer mistakes!

How do you use this D6 dice mold to make your own gamer dice?

Step 1:  Bring the mold edges together and close with packing tape.

Step 2:  Mix and pour a casting resin through the mold opening at the top.  Let the resin cure.

Step 3:  Peel away the tape, open the dice mold, then remove the di.  Finish as necessary.  Use acrylic paint to highlight the numbers after demolding castings.

You can use this flexible silicone rubber dice mold with resins like epoxy, polyester, and polyurethane.  You can also use this mold with wax, soap, precious metal clay, fimo clay, concrete, and cement.  Have more questions about using these molds?  Be sure to check out our House of Molds FAQ.

Dice will need post-demolding finishing to get a perfect edge.  Beginners should expect to use these molds several times to learn how to get perfect dice.

The listing is for the resin di mold only.  The same D6 di shown is not included.
