Hate how sometimes when you demold your resin charms and casting, they have a frosted finish? This gloss spray for resin quickly and easily adds a shiny finish to your resin charms.
Castin’ Craft resin gloss sealer spray is a multi-purpose fast drying, clear gloss finish sealer that is ideal for fixing small blemishes in cured resin pieces. It comes in a 5 3/4 ounce aerosol can.
How to Use
How do you use this gloss spray for resin to get a shiny finish?
Step 1: Make sure your surface is clean, dry, and free of deep gouges.
Step 2: Apply in short bursts of light coats. Let dry 15 to 20 minutes between coats. **Applying in coats that are too thick will give a cloudy finish.

What else is this resin sealer spray good for?
- Sealing off surface tackiness on resin castings
- Sealing items such as dried flowers and craft papers before including in resin

This product is great. Shines resin up a bit. It fixes the sticky/tacky resin really well. The can is small. You can’t tell from the website image. It surprised me when I opened the box.
Overall, a must have for resin work:)
I used the product to seal up some "Sticky spots" left from a clear coat application. The product did seal the sticky spots but when it dried it was not clear but opaque finish. The labeling stated it would be a clear finish.
I now have to recoat the whole of my counter top.
Hi Bernie, I'm sorry to hear the gloss sealer spray left an opaque finish on your countertop. I would be disappointed by this too. It sounds like you may have applied the resin in too thick a coat. You want to apply the spray in multiple light layers in order to get a clear glossy finish. If you haven't had a chance to watch our video yet where I show how to get the glossy finish and avoid the frosted one, you can watch the video here: https://youtu.be/ITsGX4PcPrE. I'm also going to reach out to you privately to help you get that glossy resin countertop you want. :)
I read soooo many reviews, most were negative. I was therefore hesitant to purchase, but I needed to seal some items before casting in resin. I read instructions followed them carefully. Worked fine for me. I have not yet used it on an already cast item to restore shine to a dull object. Fingers crossed that it will work.
I bought this to spray on all my resin work to provide a top cost for extra protection but to keep it the natural high gloss when the resin cures. This matted my art and took the gloss away. Would not recommend if you want high shine.
Hi Megan, thanks for taking the time to share your insight. I'm sorry to hear you didn't get a shiny finish on your resin. That happens to me too when I apply the spray in thick coats. It's why I created the video above to show how to apply the spray so that you get a shiny finish. I'm also going to email you privately so I can learn more about what's going on with your resin art and how I can help.
Bought this because it says Glossy, but it was not. Would not recommend.
Hi Diann, I'm sorry to hear the resin gloss sealer spray did not work out for you. I would be disappointed too if I used it and didn't get a glossy finish. The good news is that a few changes in your technique is usually enough to get the results you want. We will be reaching out to you privately by email to learn more about what's going on and how to get that glossy shine you want!
