You've invested a lot of money in your resin molds.  Keep them in good condition by using Castin' Craft Mold Release and Conditioner.   It is strongly recommended for all plastic and silicone molds so your castings will release from the molds every time.

This 4-ounce bottle of mold release will let you coat your molds dozens of times.  And because it isn't an aerosol product, it can ship to you quickly (and not to mention worldwide!)

Using this mold release to prep your molds for resin casting is as easy as:

1.  Pump a light mist of spray to create a cloud.

2.  Draw your resin mold through the cloud.

3.  Allow drying for 20 to 30 minutes before use.

it’s alright

I’m not sure if i’m using it incorrectly, but i’ve noticed it dulls my resin pieces very much and it hasn’t made it much easier for my pieces to release from the mold :/ i could just be using it wrong but the instructions are very straight forward and easy to follow

Hi Bailey-Ann, thanks for taking the time to share your insight. I'd be disappointed too if using this product dulled my resin pieces. It sounds like you might be using too much mold release or not waiting long enough for it to dry before adding resin to your mold. You only need a light mist, then allow at least 30 minutes for the release to dry before using the mold. This video on our youtube channel shows how I like to use it: https://youtu.be/_9MOqSaUPa4

Slips right out!

This is a little bottle of casting heaven. No more fretting if your piece will release, a little goes a very long way. Spray a little and with a soft cloth spread around mold and let dry. If you end up with puddles you can wipe them dry. I do two light coats but I think one would do. I just recently bought the release canned spray but haven’t tried it yet. Oh and BTW, the casting resin is amazing. No bubbles!
