Recreating hummingbirds in resin form is simple with this mold. Resin charms from this mold will make beautiful coat pins or nature-inspired decorations. You can even use them for your scrapbooking projects! The flexible silicone allows you to use the mold dozens of times.
Hummingbirds made with this silicone hummingbird mold will measure 1 7/8 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide and 1/4 inch deep.
How do you use this hummingbird silicone mold to make resin hummingbirds?
Step 1: Mix and pour a casting resin into the mold opening.
Step 2: Make it unique by using resin colors before pouring or leave the resin clear and add glitter, beads or feather pieces.
Step 3: After curing, twist the mold while grabbing the resin hummingbird to remove it.
Resin hummingbird shown was made by adding gold glitter to the Resin Obsession super clear resin, then highlighting the detail with metallic bronze acrylic paint.
Make sure your resin hummingbird demold easily. Apply a light layer of resin mold release 30 minutes or longer before using with resin.

I liked this mold, accidentally placed 2 orders of it 1 night, but I'm not "in love" with it. Though the size is ideal for making into a pendant (you'd have to poke your own hole in it), I wasn't expecting the front to have a satin finish; I was anticipating more of a glossy finish (I know now it's to be expected with anything but clear molds). Still, the piece is really pretty and petite which is just what I needed it to be. Haven't been able to find a mold like this anyplace else, it didn't even show up in my Google search for hummingbird molds for resin - even with various different efforts, I'm just so thankful I'm a crazed fan of Resin Obsession (for over 10yrs now)! Thank you!!

yes, you can drill holes be careful, start with smallest drill bit and gradually increase its size until you reach the size you want. i bought little micro bits at harbor freight best move I made.
I've used the Hummingbird mold several times since I got it, and each one turned out great. I've used several different colours and some dual colours. For some I've added glitter.........I am happy with all of them.
