I use the clear art resin on my acrylic pour paintings that I do on craft plywood. It brings the metallic paints so much depth. The resin is easy to mix and is just thick enough that it stays on the board and doesn’t run off the edges like thinner resins making a nice smooth surface. Thanks for the additional resin topics and tutorials.
I'm still learning and making lots of mistakes. This resin was easy to measure with the one/one ratio. I made some "joke" pendants for my daughter and son-in-law using some of the grandkids baby teeth. The resin is so clear and the pendants turned out great! This will work great for several of my craft projects. Thanks for all your newsletters and videos to help me on this creative journey! The photo is blurry but gives you the idea of the fun joke gifts.
This is so great to hear Terri. We love helping you with your creative time!
The resin working time is extremely short, also no matter how long I mix it, whether it’s hand mixed or if I mix it with a electric mixer they never go away. The bottle says mix until clear, but the resin never clears. I live in Southern California and the weather is perfect. I’m sorry it’s my honest opinion and I am having extreme buyers remorse

Hi Mari, thanks for taking the time to share your insight. It sounds like you are having bubble trouble. They are awful little things aren't they?! We hate bubbles too! The good news is that a few tweaks to your resin technique is usually all it takes to avoid and remove bubbles from your resin. This article will give you direction on what you can do differently next time you use the resin to get the results you want: https://www.resinobsession.com/resin-frequently-asked-questions/resin-bubbles/ In the meantime, we will also be emailing you privately to understand your situation better to see how else we can help.

I was experimenting with another brand on a desktop. It was separating like a diseased orange peel. I had decided that I wasn't going to scrape it all off. I took a chance and went with my Resin obsession and covered over it. Turned out great, lucky me. The only issue I have with this new artwork resin, vs. the older version of Resin Obsession, is that it has more air bubbles to deal with. I can handle that, I'm fan for life now.
Hi Jeanie, we're glad to hear the resin worked so well for you! You are right about the artwork resin holding onto bubbles. Since it's a doming resin, it mixes thicker, which can make bubbles more of a problem. This article will give you some ideas on what you can do differently next time you use it to help with bubbles. https://www.resinobsession.com/resin-frequently-asked-questions/resin-bubbles/
I love this resin for art work, molds, jewelry and more. Easy to work with plenty of working time.
