the resin was a little bit smelly but with doors open and ventilatory everything worked out. the finish, nice smooth and shiny
This resin does what is says it will, but the odor is horrendous. All the other resins that I use are VOC-free. For this price, there should be a VOC-free option. It would be much safer. As it is, I can only use this resin on warm days (and I live in the midwest) because I have to open the window for an extended period of time to ventilate my room, otherwise the odor spreads through the house.
Hi Bryana, thanks for taking the time to share your insight. I'm sorry to read the smell was bothersome to you and that you are taking extra steps to help circulate fresh air in your room. This formula is VOC free but there can be other smells not related to VOC's that you are noticing. This article shares the respirator we recommend to help you more with controlling what you smell: https://www.resinobsession.com/resin-resin-resin/epoxy-resin-safety-precautions/
Purchased this resin and used with my jewelry. Just loved the results and shine. The bottles came with little spouts for easy pouring. I love this store!
I bought this product and tried it out and then bought some more for future use. It is the best doming resin that I've used and also seems to be the most bubble free resin that I've used. Bubbles actually do make their way to the top and burst like they are supposed to with resin. My trick to minimizing bubbles is to stir slowly with a popsicle stick and keep the stick touching the bottom of the cup for most of the stirring if possible. It does have a shorter work time, I think, than the other resin than I've used, but you can plan for that ahead of time. I highly recommend this resin.
We love hearing this Clare. Thanks so much for sharing!
Great product that gave my resin work a very professional result. I will be reordering soon. I
