Make resin your own resin beads for your next jewelry project with this silicone sphere bead mold. Having this mold on hand is also a great way to use up leftover resin!
Beads made with this mold will be 9 mm wide and cast with a 2 mm wide hole going from end to end. That means your bead is ready to wear as soon as you take it from the mold!
This silicone sphere bead mold is also clear, which allows you to see through the mold while adding resin. This is great for placing your items exactly where you want them or grabbing those pesky bubbles before letting the resin cure. Being able to see through the mold means fewer mistakes!
Using this sphere bead mold to make your own resin beads is as easy as:
1. Measuring and stirring a jewelry resin for molds.
2. Pouring the resin into the bead mold. You can add fun things like charms, flowers, glass beads or resin colors first.
3. Demolding by pushing the cured resin bead from the back of the mold and gently twisting it off the bead stem.
Sample bead shown was made with Resin Obsession super clear resin and Resin Obsession transparent purple pigment.
Make sure your castings come out perfectly by treating your mold before use with mold release thirty minutes or longer before using the mold with resin.
The same resin bead shown is not included with your silicone bead mold purchase.
