Let your fresh flowers steal the show? Not when you make a resin vase with this mold. Make a square vase where the tube to hold the flower rests in the center of the vase. The mold comes with one tube to hold a flower, plus a silicone stopper to keep resin out of the tube portion of the mold while your resin cures.
The mold makes vases 4 1/4 inches wide by 1 1/2 inch deep. The inner circle measures 3 3/8 inches across. The tube opening in the mold is 5/8 inches wide. The clear plastic tube that comes with the mold is 4 3/4 inches long.
How do you make a square resin vase with this silicone mold?
Step 1: Seal the tube opening in the mold with the small silicone cylinder.
Step 2: Mix an epoxy crafting resin. This is important to ensure your vase cures hard and durable.
Step 3: Dye your resin with an epoxy resin color pigment, then pour into the mold.
Step 4: Let the resin harden, then peel out of the silicone. Remove the silicone cylinder too.
Step 5: Add your tube. Flower not included. *wink*
Make demolding a cinch by using resin mold release before filling the mold with resin. It makes the process so much easier.
