Making resin look like faux metal is easy, affordable, and of course, beautiful! By Alumilite, these metallic powders come in a 1-ounce jar and are incredibly easy to use: simply brush powder onto a mold and cast your resin. Two colors available: gold and copper.

This is super shiny. You will need to work quickly as it does heat up the resin.
This stuff is amazing. Either brushed into mold or used mixed with other colors; gives a beautiful tone to projects.
Oh, wow, I do love this stuff! I have used it both by brushing it into a silicone mold, which gives an amazing finish once poured, and also by mixing into the resin (I used the AMAZING Clear Cast), 1 part resin, 1 part hardener, and 1 part powder (by volume, NOT weight!) The appearance of the metallic-infused resin is hypnotic while in its liquid state!
The cube beads were made by brushing the powder into the silicone mold.
The pyramid was made with the metallic powder mixed into the resin. The peeks of blue flash in the base of the pyramid are from a little Interference Blue Pearlex powder stirred into clear resin and poured in after the gold had cured for 24 hours.
Great set of metal powders to give your casts a realistic metal look. Great for cold-casting.
